Cruson is strictly a B2B (business-to-business) intelligence platform. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, consumer credit scores, home addresses, personal health information, or children's data. We process strictly professional contact information obtained from publicly accessible sources, including:
- Professional Identity: First name, last name, professional title, company name, business phone numbers.
- Digital Contact Details: Corporate work email addresses, public social profile links (LinkedIn, X, GitHub).
- Firmographic & Location Data: Company website, business headquarters street address, city, country, Google business review ratings.
- Technical Metadata: Company web technology stack, CMS, payment gateways, and publicly verifiable mail exchange (DNS MX) records.
3. Legal Basis under GDPR (Article 6(1)(f))
For individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, Cruson processes professional business contact data under the legal basis of Legitimate Interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Our legitimate interest consists in enabling B2B commercial entities to discover relevant business partners, contractors, and service providers.
We balance this legitimate interest against individual rights by ensuring that all processed data is restricted to professional activities, verified for accuracy, and subject to an immediate, unconditional right of erasure.
4. How We Use Collected Data
We use processed data solely to:

We honor all verified suppression requests within 48 hours and add the corresponding email/domain to our global exclusion suppression blacklist.

Cruson implements bank-grade encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Passwords are cryptographically hashed using PBKDF2 with SHA-256 and unique 16-byte random salts. We conduct continuous vulnerability scanning and restrict internal access under strict principle of least privilege.
